Adebayo Oke-Lawal most notable partnership happened recently with globally recognized Nigerian artist Davido, where he designed a limited edition collection sold exclusively at major store Selfridges
He creates movements. Breaking traditional gender stereotypes to synonymously celebrating his Nigerian culture, at the age of only 28, Adebayo is a pioneer in the making.

2) LISA FOLAWIYO                                      

                                      
This is also a Nigerian brand owned by Lisa Folawiyo.                                               Designer, Lisa Folawiyo perfected the art of wearing Ankara (local west African cloth) through the use of ornate embellishments. Lisa Folawiyo is a Nigerian fashion designer who is best known for incorporating traditional West African textiles with modern tailoring techniques with an emphasis on beading and sequin trim. The brand  has shown its collections on international platforms – in Lagos and Johannesburg to London, Paris, Milan and New York; from Lagos Fashion & Design Week to New York Fashion Week to the Pitti W Tradeshow and the Vogue Talent Exhibition in collaboration with Vogue ItaliaLisa Folawiyo has been featured in several publications such as Vogue, Style.com, The New York Times, Harper’s Bazaar, Women’s Wear Daily, Drapers, BBC.co.uk, Dazeddigital.com, ModaOperandi.com, The Financial Times Online (How To Spend It), Essence, and Marie Claire.

Amaka Osakwe is a Nigerian fashion designer and creator of the African-based fashion label named Maki Oh. She has led her womanswear label since 2010 from Lagos, and it is a Nigerian-based label that is globally acknowledged 
.Maki Oh is a womenswear brand that fuses traditional African techniques with detailed contemporary construction. Maki oh as been worn by Mrs. Michelle Obama, Lupita N'yongo, Solange Knowles, Leelee Sobieski, Alek Wek, Thandie Newton, Azaelia Banks and more. The brand has shown it's collections during NYFW and has been featured in Vogue

4) MOWALOLA


The Lagos born, London based designer Mowalola Ogunlesi has shown her brand in different fashion shows. It has featured in Vogue and many more.
Nigerian designer Mowalola Ogunlesi burst onto the fashion scene with her graduate collection from the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2017.
Her eponymous brand, has been worn by America hip Hop star; Drake, Solange Knowles in her Dazed cover shoot and was featured in Skepta’s hazy “Pure Water” video. 
She was also involved with the launch of Nike’s Nigerian eye-catching jersey and has also received high praise from famous people like Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and many more

5)  LANRE DA SILVA AJAYI


Lanre Da Silva Ajayi (LDA) is the founder of eponymous design label. In nine years her passion for fashion has gotten stronger making the label a fashion favourite among the media, celebrities and fashion lovers.

Regardless of the label's strong historical design roots, LDA's creatively combines pattern, print, exquisite and even traditional fabrics to produce day wear, evening wear, gowns and cocktail dresses that bridge time and make the label successful within and outside Nigeria.

6) DEOLA SAGOE


Nigerian born fashion designer Ms Deola Ade-Ojo founder of deola Sogoe. She begin designing in 1988, when she joined her mother's business with a view of expanding the label's repertoire to encompass more contemporary designs for the ever-developing, cosmopolitan high-brows

Having been the first black woman to present a collection at AltaRoma, Rome’s celebrated fashion week, back in 2004 and the first Nigerian to have her own stand-alone show at the New York Fashion Week September 2014, she continues to lead the way in trailblazing Nigeria on the global fashion map.

she subsequently won the MNET Anglo Gold African Design Award (New York) in the year 2000; upon nomination by influential US Vogue Editor Andre Leon Tally. In 2001, Deola was rated number 37 on the African Almanac scale of 100 most influential Africans in the world. In 2004, Deola marked an important milestone of pioneering the introduction of authentic African infused clothing to the Alta Roma Alta Moda Fashion week. She has showcased her brands in different countries like Paris, New York and many more.

She also featured in and produced costumes for the monumental Nigeria's independence movie "October 1" by kunle Afolayan which merited her an award
